About Serena Nightingale

Serena Nightingale is a British astrologer, writer, and lifelong seeker of the connections between the stars and the human spirit. Her work blends traditional astrology with mindfulness, creativity, and a touch of gentle mysticism — offering a welcoming space for self-reflection, curiosity, and empowerment.

Through Serena Nightingale Astrology, she shares free daily horoscopes, monthly forecasts, and beautifully illustrated features on colours, numbers, plants, and spirit animals for each zodiac sign. Serena’s content is designed to uplift and inspire, helping readers see astrology not as fate, but as a mirror for growth and self-understanding.

Beyond her regular horoscopes, Serena’s creative projects include Art Nouveau–inspired zodiac artwork, the Goddesses of the Isles oracle deck, themed around Celtic mythology and divine femininity. She has also created a colouring book inspired by the collection. Each piece reflects her belief that beauty, art, and symbolism are powerful tools for inner harmony.

Serena’s tone is thoughtful yet optimistic — a modern voice for those who wish to explore astrology with open minds and kind hearts.

“Astrology is not about predicting your life — it’s about rediscovering your light.” – Serena Nightingale

Fun Facts About Serena 🌟

  • What inspired you to start Serena Nightingale Astrology?
As a youngster, I always wanted to do something like Shelley von Strunckel’s column in The Sunday Times. This is the modern version of that — and you don’t have to buy half a ton of newspaper just to read it.
  • What’s your zodiac sign (and rising sign)?
Leo with Virgo rising. It can be a challenging combination at times.
  • Which planet do you feel most connected to?
Gaia! I was born here, and it’s probably the only home I’ll ever have. It’s important to be connected to it.
  • Favourite constellation to spot in the night sky?
It’s a joy to see any of them these days, as the light pollution is so intense around here. Like so many people, I have to go a long way to see the stars, and that’s a real pity. I do have a soft spot for Cassiopeia — I always imagine her there on her chair, a little bored, slightly bemused, and totally unimpressed. I think she was somewhat hard done by in the Greek myths. Poseidon caused all the trouble!
  • Morning person or night owl?
I’m an absolute night owl. I like the stillness.
  • What’s your go-to comfort drink when writing horoscopes?
If there’s a lemon to hand, it’s English Breakfast; otherwise, it’s Earl Grey. It’s usually Earl Grey.
  • Which zodiac sign do you most enjoy writing for?
It really does change from forecast to forecast — there’s always one sign or another getting a bit more celestial action than the others, and that’s always the most interesting one to work on.
  • If you could spend a day with any historical astrologer (or cosmic thinker), who would it be?
The Doctor. Not to save the world from rampaging Daleks or anything of that sort — just to have a good old chat about life, the universe and everything.
