Here is a list of a few of our favourite astrology books. There are, of course, thousands of books on the topic, but we’re very much focussing on quality over quantity.
Please note that we do get a small affiliate commission from Amazon if you buy these books via our links but that this has no impact on the price that your pay, nor does it in any way influence our recommendations.

“The only book you’ll ever need” might be a rather lavish claim but Joanna Martine Woolfolk’s guide to the subject is an excellent place for anyone to start their astrological studies.
Whatever the title might say, we’re pretty sure that this detailed and comprehensive introduction to astrology will leave you hungry for more.
Another great introduction to the subject which uses a course structure with regular quizzes to make sure that you haven’t missed anything on the way.
The book is well-structured and makes good use of diagrams alongside some nice, clear explanations. If you like learning in a structured way, Alan McNab’s book is definitely one to consider.

A big, beautiful hardback edition of an excellent guide to birth charts, Parkers’ Astrology is a must for any self-respecting bookshelf.
Everything you need to know about creating a birth chart is right here in a beautifully illustrated tome that presents its subject matter in a well-ordered and highly comprehensible way.
We’d certainly pick this as an ideal gift for anyone who wants to know more about the subject.
You know that anything published by Taschen is going to be rather lovely and that’s absolutely the case with Astrology: The Library of Esoterica by Andrea Richards.
An intriguing history of astrology that will take you down many a wonderful rabbit hole and leave you seeing the world in a rather different way.
